West Side will see nine seniors graduate at the end of the 2011-2012 school year from TCCHS.  We congratulate these young adults on their perseverance in achieving this worthy goal.  Our seniors this year include Cady Alder, Connor Coffman, Michael Driver, Brittany Fowler, Adam Moberly, Stephanie Moore, Taylor Partlow, Michael Rager, and J. T. Willis.

We congratulate Chandler Coffman on his graduation from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. We also compliment Chandler on his graduating with honors! We are very proud of Chandler and his achievements! Chandler graduates on Saturday, May 12th.

We also extend our congratulations to Sydney Rager for receiving the 110% Award for cheerleading and Brittany Fowler for the Senior Award.

We congratulate Michael Rager on his receiving the MVP Baseball Award, the Academic Award in Baseball, and the All-Class A Tournament Team. Michael, we appreciate your efforts on behalf of TCCHS.

We offer congratulations to J. T. Willis and Taylor Partlow for being inducted into the TCCHS Chapter of the National Honor Society. Again, we are thankful for your representation of West Side so positively.

Taylor Partlow is to be congratulated on her being in the Top 10% of the Class of 2012.  We also congratulate Taylor on being a recipient of the Commonwealth Diploma! Those two achievements are very commendable ones!

We congratulate Alex Woody and Abby Lee in their performances in the TCCHS production of “Beauty and the Beast.” We appreciate the efforts of Alex and Abby and their support of drama at Todd Central.

We extend ‘kudos’ to Kayla Watkins on her selection to the All-Class A Tournament Softball Team. Again we appreciate Kayla’s support of TCCHS.

Ashley Upchurch McGhee passed her state cosmetology exam in recent days.  Ashley is now working in Russellville in a beauty salon just off the Square. Ashley is the wife of Steven Kurtis McGhee.

Austin Rager, son of Rocky and Julie Rager, has written a book entitled The Mountain Lion.  Austin presented a printed copy of the book to his grandparents, Lilburn and Phylis Rager, on their 50th Wedding Anniversary that was celebrated on March 25, 2012.  Austin dedicated the book to his maternal grandfather, the late John Ringstrom.  Mrs. Linda Ringstrom, Austin’s maternal grandmother, now lives in Elkton.

We want to extend our congratulations to Danny Bruce McGhee on his becoming an elder at West Side on February 26, 2012. Danny Bruce brings to the eldership a commitment to making West Side a very visible part of our community. Danny Bruce, a lifelong member of West Side, has previously served as a deacon and teacher at West Side. He has also been a devoted worker in the planning and implementation of the annual Thanksgiving Day Meals hosted by West Side. We are indeed pleased that Danny Bruce has accepted this very worthy responsibility.

Ashley Upchurch McGhee on her graduation from the Lindsey School of Cosmetology on Monday, February 27, 2012.  Ashley is the wife of Steven Kurtis McGhee.

Congratulations to …

Peggy Willoughby, Lindsey Sanders, Jonas Martin, and Kim Joyner were baptized December 18th at West Side.  We want to extend to each one of them the very best as they begin their new journey as Christians.

West Side is striving to have 100 in attendance at our Sunday worship services. If you do not attend church anywhere, we invite you to join us at West Side.  Morning worship services begin at 10:00 AM.  If you attend church elsewhere, we would be honored to have you in attendance at West Side!  You are always welcome!!!

West Side meets each Sunday at 10:00 AM for worship service, 9:00 AM for Bible study, and 5:30 PM for Sunday evening service.  We also have Wednesday evening Bible classes at 7:00 PM. We hope to see you soon!
