Welcome to Friends & Family Day 2008!
I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Friends & Family Day 2008 at the West Side Church of Christ. We are thrilled that you could be with us today! As you worship with us today, you will notice that our music is accapella, that is, without instruments. We also partake of the Lord’s Supper and take up a collection each week. Our worship will also include scripture reading, prayer and preaching. We strive to pattern our worship after the 1st Century Christians which we read about in the New Testament during the time of the apostles. We encourage you to participate with us as we worship God together today. Following our morning worship, we will enjoy a fellowship meal together in the fellowship hall just west of the main building. We invite you to join with us...don’t worry, there will be plenty of food to go around! After we clean up, we will return to the auditorium for a period of singing which will end at about 2:30pm. Again, you are our honored guests. If you have any questions, please ask me or one of our other members. We hope you enjoy this great day as we celebrate together.
